Vogel, living up to the strict manufacturing and performance ethic of Schimmel Pianos

In 1882 Wilhelm Schimmel learned the piano craft while working in the Leipzig based company "Vogel & Son" before he started his own piano business in 1885. In 2003 Hannes Schimmel-Vogel, representing the fourth generation in the Schimmel Company brings the name of Vogel back to the fore of quality piano manufacturing.

Hannes established a European based production facility for Vogel Pianos in Kalisz, Poland, also known for being home to generations of fine piano craftsmen.
