This wood is grown in high mountainous regions under challenging conditions. Only a small fraction of this wood, specifically resonance wood, is suitable for crafting our soundboards. The highest quality is crucial because soundboards are the heart of our instruments: their vibration properties and stability are essential for producing the beautiful tones of our upright and grand pianos.
