Why are there so many free pianos online? 

Pianos were built to last, but unfortunately, they are not eternal. The typical life-span of a piano in the harsh Michigan climate is limited to 50-60 years. When a piano gets to the point where it can’t hold a tuning, or can’t be made to sound/play well(within a reasonable price), it typically becomes a free piano online. 

All of our used pianos have been carefully selected for their quality and condition and we make all the necessary repairs and adjustments to put each piano into what we call “teacher approved condition”. A good pianist knows that a piano plays and sounds only as good as how well it is being maintained.
